FC Goa Hammers Kerala Blasters



A Fine hat-trick from the FC Goa forward, Ferran Corominas helped the hosts to hammer Kerala Blasters for 5-2. In one of the high scoring enthralling match of this season’s ISL, FC Goa showcased an impressive game of Football and Sachin Tendulkar’s Kerala Blasters FC was no match for them

FC dominated the match, particularly in the second half of the match. Kerala Blasters FC was able to keep the score down to 2-2 in the first 46 minutes of the game. The early brace from Manuel Lanzarote Bruno was spectacular but Kerala found hope in Mark Sifneos and Jackichand Singh, as both of them scored to keep the visitors back in the match.

However, things didn’t go quite well for Kerala Blasters FC in the second half of the game, as Ferran Corominas broke through the poor defensive wall of Kerala and scored three back to back goals with ease. With yesterday’s victory, FC Goa marches forward to the second position in the points table.

FC Goa currently has 9 points for four ISL matches, which is the exact smae as Chennaiyin FC and Bengaluru FC. On the other hand, Kerala Blasters will continue to remain in the 8th spot with just 3 points from four games. Kerala, who was the runner-ups of last ISL season, will need to step up their game and strengthen their defence in the upcoming matches to stay alive in the tournament.
